Monferrato Rosso identifies with the Monferrato hills, narrow between the Langhe and the Po valley. The wine has the flavor of this land and these hills, springing from indigenous grapes (Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon). Monferrato Rosso is characterized by an intense ruby red color with good depth and brightness. Nose surprising notes of berries and spices in harmony with each other while the taste is fresh and pleasant, with a component of well-balanced tannins. Monferrato Rosso is ideal with first courses and second courses of meat, boiled or roasted.
intense ruby red with excellent depth and brilliance. To the nose there is a surprisingly, pleasant sensation full of fruit, with notes of forest fruits blended with spices. On the palate, the impact has great roundness, freshness, so pleasant, with elegant tannins integrated well in its full volume
Fermented and macerated, with delestage, for approx. three weeks in vertical steel tanks, the wine is drawn-off once the alcoholic fermentation is complete. The wine is poured partly into 25hl oak casks and partly into new barrels and at a second stage, fermented and aged for approx. 12 months. Carefully selected cask by cask, blended and bottled. Matured for a further 6 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
its organoleptic characteristics mean this wine is ideal with impressive first courses and second courses of meat, both boiled and roast meats
